My mom went for rehab and lost 12 pound in 3 weeks.

Ownership

This is very unprofessional unless we are only being treated this way because we are black. There are some great nurses and staff here, but as a whole this place is not good. If your loved one can't advocate for themselves please do not send them here. No one seems to be able to give answers if you have a question. No one knows anything and, all the staff does is complain. There isn't enough staff for the amount of patients.

However, people in charge of providing the paperwork didn't do anything for whole three days. Every extra day in the Pavilion was torture for the patient inside as well as the family outside. My mom cried a lot but nothing I could do to help.

My mother died, and was in a coma for ten days after that. The lawyer handling my case has said this place is notorious for lawsuits. I spoke to the director and it was like she didn't care. They tried to cover up the whole story, which obviously did not coincide with the ambulance and hospital reports.

My mom was here rehabbing for hip replacement surgery. The physical therapists were great and the night nurses were nice. But the daytime nurses gave my mom problems with giving her pain medication on time for pretty much the majority of her two week stay. She would repeatedly ask the nurses but they wouldn’t bring it in to 30 minutes to an hour later which threw her schedule off which caused her discomfort and lack of sleep. My husband was in Dr. William O. Benson Rehabilitation Pavilion for 4 months.

WATERVIEW NURSING CARE CENTER

She was progressing very well until we had to transfer. Unfortunately I regret transferring her due to the unprofessional service the nurse provide. She cried every single day since she was transferred here. The visiting hours are not convenient at all.

Pavilion has to be the WORST place, ever. From, the time my mom first had to stay there for rehab we saw it was dirty and dangerous! My mom also had to go there for dialysis, from there she kept getting infection after infection. On December 14th, 2019 my momma died from MRSA that she contracted from the dialysis machine not being properly cleaned, and she also suffered multiple strokes.

I'm sitting here with my grandfather and I believe in my heart these are his final days. If I could do this all over again I would have went with a different facility. I believeHe is in hospice care on 5mg (or ml...? Whichever the "appropriate dosage" is...) and he is still in pain. They give him 5 units every 8 hours...and they've continued his insulin. I don't want to just kill him but he goes in and out of pain and after reading about morphine and having conversations with others, more can be administered safely.
